Situated in the heart of rural Buckinghamshire, 5 miles north of Aylesbury, this 16th Century pub is an Oasis of good food, fine wines and real ales. Sally and David Hayle have turned the pub from a sleepy backwater to a destination food pub of note. Eat and or drink in the “No smoking” Restaurant, patio or spacious gardens, with spectacular views over the Vale of Aylesbury to Stowe school and beyond.

Separate menus are used for lunch, dinner and Sundays and all are reviewed on a monthly basis. A daily specials and sweet board are also at hand.

At present opening hours are as follows:
Tuesday to Saturday 12.00 to 3pm. 6pm to 11pm

Sunday. 12.00 to 4.30pm.

Food served:
Tuesday to Saturday: 12.00 to 2.30pm. 6.15pm to 9pm
Sunday: 12.00 to 3.30pm

Closed Sunday Evening and All Day Monday except for Bank Holidays when Sunday Hours apply.
